This process involved sifting through countless unnamed files without descriptions, made even more challenging by the university&#8217;s slow internet connection. Recognizing the need for a more efficient solution, Emtage developed a tool that allowed users to search for files by name. Yet this promise came with a catch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For with great power comes great piles of\u2026 data. The explosion of online information has made research both exhilarating and exhausting. Picture this: You download an exciting new paper, but before you can read it, three more papers land in your inbox. Weeks later, that first file is buried under hundreds of others in a folder ominously titled \u201cTo Read.\u201d Multiply this by years of work, and you\u2019re left staring at what can only be called a \u201cmountain of data.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-clutter-of-digital-research\"><a href=\"#the-clutter-of-digital-research\" class=\"heading-link\"><i class=\"glyphicon glyphicon-link\"><\/i><\/a>The Clutter of Digital Research<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The reality of modern research is often one of digital clutter.
